I've passed the Prelimnary rounds and I'm in for Quater-finals.



I'm actually pretty diappointed with how I sounded tonight.
I knew I couldn't use my head voices, so in emergency I switched to chest tones.
Luckily the Judges thought it was impressive enough.

But still I think I disappointed my friends.

Thanks alot girls, for coming to support me!
It really helped me to loosen my nerves.

Did some crapping with Patrick.
He's my classmate when I was still in Hark as a student.
And now he had to judge me!
He kept telling me "Jeslene you die la, I am going to make you die!"
Sicko lol.
But really good to see him again!
He's like, the only person in my class who I kept in contact with.

Oh, he didn't leave comments for me though.
I asked him, did you not dare, or don't have any comments to say?
then he said he paiseh.
BAAAH.

Met a group great people when I'm backstaging.

We were chatting and laughing when we were waiting.

Really enjoyed the company!

Among us six, four of us went in.

A pity for Jack and Natalie, who didn't make it. =(

Enjoyed myself today!

After that, tong came to meet us and we dragged the whole group to robinsons!

Headed to Suntec convention for Starbucks after I submitted my CD to Hark Music for the competition.

The girls went gaga inside the toilet, criticisizing the way the toilet was built and comparing fats.

Went to Marina Square's ZARA!

The girls, except tong, tried on a 70bucks dress.

And well, of course must take photos in the fitting room laaaaaah~

Headed for home after, and we found these in Hiyu Jie's cosplay costume plastic bag, which her overseas friend passed her!

Excluding Jeng Loon and Tong, the rest of the gang headed to my house with alchohol.
The ladies went all naked in my room as we are playing dress up.
Dress up as in, trying on each other's clothes.
And since Hiyu Jie lives only 1 carpark from me, she brought her dresses over!
So we were like, trying on this and that.
Took photos, but am not posting it up, in case you know, they kill me.

Played truth or dare again in the room.
If we cannot answer the questions, we must drink the alchohol.
But I already drank quite some of it before the game LOL.
I kept having to give questions, because I'm the yellow one.
Kai Qi went a lil high after he got his turn 3 times, anddrank instead of answering.
LOL.

We chatted and all till 4am in the morning.
Didn't went for breakfast cuz Kai Qi couldn't wake up.
But might be meeting them for supper tonight.

I just did something really dumb,
I tried to remove my mascara using my TONER.
I have no idea what I was thinking okay.
It's only until my eyes were shocked with the pain of alcohol then I realised.
I'm so SLOW.
Must be cause I'm getting dumber.
(But actually I placed the toner bottle next to the remover bottle. must be that. I'm not dumb after all.)

Met Joelle at cine! She's right lah, haven't seen her for a year, then now suddenly we keep seeing each other.

Headed to robinson's after Tong's salon trip!
Then off to PS to meet Siew Choo and Cally!
Walked around then we sent Siew Choo off to the train station.
Then the remainder of us went for tau hua break.

There's some seriously irritating people in the Tau Hua shop.
Sickos, think we don't know you all are mumbling about us.

Tong went for interview and the three of us went to Hark to reserve another seat for Cally on 22nd.

I've got nine ppl to support me on 22nd! =)

Ate dinner at a place called 'Fatty'.

To let my darlings know I'm pretty okay.
My leg still swells, and I'm still walking like a penguin.
I skipped lunch today,
Cuz walking to the kitchen kills.

I'm currently using my computer chair as a wheelchai5r
So I can "roll" around without any trouble.
Showering is the worst.
I have to grab a chair to sit under the shower.

I shall see if Monday school is possible.
Mom and dad doesn't want me to move around.
I'm like, immobilized.

Dad did massage my leg with medicated oil.

Great, just great.
Just as I thought, finally today it's Friday, and I can rest a lil before the next project.
Plans for today are all CANCELED.

Why?
Because Jeslene the greater sprained her ankle in school today.
I was walking down the lift stairs when someone banged be from the side.
I missed three steps and fell.

I heard laughter.
You tell me, how uncivilized these students can be?

I landed upright, and managed to keep myself standing.
But immediately I knew, this is going to be serious.
And yeah, it began to swell.
I know I've been in this before, and I know the last one, I fell harder as I was wearing heels.
This time, although I'm wearing canvas shoes,
I'm frightened, I better not hurt any of my bones.


Let's not care about fats, look at my right leg, it's swelling at the side!

And for the first time in my ite days, I have to wear this damn "Im not wearing school shoes" tag. I brought my slippers along because I wanted to head out after school, and darn, it's useful in the wrong way.

We finished the project proposal today. And well, I know I'm a burden to my friends today cause I couldn't walk much at all. They have to run all errands and they have to be my walking stick.

Oh, I took the lift like, 5times today, guang ming zheng da. Sick.

I have to take a cab home, and I managed to climb down the stairs in the most painful way. Aiya, at least I didn't sit on the stairs and slide myself down one step by one step lahs.

Mum tried putting medicated oil on me and she rubbed so lightly, but it hurt so much, my tears juz fell and I couldn't stop. Uh well. I wonder if I can make it to school on monday. But no s&w, im sure. =\

I took this in the morning, before I headed out for school. Beautiful sunrise, bad bad day.

The UK Funfair by Mr Ringo is starting soon and I'm craving to go. I wish it's just not so expensive though.

Dear Maryanne and Tong, please remember Jeslene Lee the bai ka the next time you all got too engrossed with talking. Don't just leave me behind and you walk 10 metres away le then realised I'm bai ka-ing and in the cab already.

Current mood: LAZY.
It was my Hark Music Singing Competition Auditions today.

I didn't expect the auditions to be an open show lah! It just adds on to my nervousness. Okay, basically, all the people who joined the competition were there watching. But that's enough. But ARGH! JESLENE LEE!

You nervous until like that for what! You hao dai performed for more than 100 ppl before!

BUT! I'm still so nervous. But the aircon was sooooooo....... cold. I was shivering till all my nervousness flew away until the very last moment, right before I went up on stage. My voice was shaking, I supposed, from the cold.

For your info, people, I sang yi shi de mei hao.

I couldn't quite judge how I sang, because I knew my vibrato was shaking. But maryanne told me that the whole room of people turned silent to listen to me. I really hope that's true. She added that she was proud of me, and that the guy who almsot sat on her just now were gesturing to his friends about me.

I wonder.

AND. I just read Hark's blog, these people ah, meant to freak me out is it!

Participants will be singing with Live Band from Semi-Finals onwards. An additional 考验 for them!So, as 'part of the trend' (hahaa...), other than the judges' grading on their vocal techniques and performing skills, audience will be invited to vote for their favourite singers!

And give them your constructive comments to them.....yes, I meant constructive comments, and not to demoralise the singers, ok?......you think singing is sooo easy, meh???

And~~~Judges will also comment and 'teach' them on the spot to let them 'see their room for improvement'.

Good, right???So, you guys and gals who are taking part in this competition....don't freak out, ok? Practice hard on your pieces and deliver them with confidence! Take all performing opportunity as a learning process, don't give yourself too much pressure..

Remember, just enjoy~~~~ That's when you can perform best!

The results of the auditions will be out either tomorrow, or Monday. And the Prelims will be this coming friday night.

Ohoh. From the prelimary rounds onwards, IF I GET IN, and IF YOU GUYS ARE COMING TO SUPPORT, they will be charging 5bucks for the show (Yes, we are the show.) inclusive of one drink. Aiya, Hark cafe mah. But that place, after renovation is woo hoo, sexy.

The price is not the problem la, problem is, if i get in, I would LOVE to see some supporters. JESLENIES! HEAR MMMEEEEEE? But i know la, I have no fans. Sorry lah, sorry! LOL!

Went to visit Tong and Hui. I know they are feeling very Tulan lah. But sighs. Had lunch with Hui for her break, and waited for Tong to knock off. I bought a bracelet and it's just so gorgeous, and may the cheapo queen annouce, it's only 5bucks.
